Laminated Rods are made of thermo-setting resins (phenolic, epoxy, silicone or melamine) combined with various base materials, such as paper or cloth, layered under high pressure and heat.
The resulting product is a dense homogeneous material which is milled to exacting diameters from 1/16" to 4". Current, Inc. can also provide metric diameters to meet your special requirements.
Uses are extremely varied and are limited only by the scope of one's imagination. Laminated Rods are lighter, more economical, and, in many applications, stronger than metal. Among other properties are electrical insulation ability, corrosion and moisture resistance, capacity to withstand heat and cold, and noise reduction capability. Laminated rods can be sawed, drilled, tapped, punched, and threaded with ordinary tools.
In addition to rods, We are offering you also custom manufactures tubes and other laminated products. We'll quote at no obligation; just send us your specs and/or blueprints. Our service is prompt, personal, and reliable. For further information, e-mail us
